This is me

I am a Puerto Rican soprano, active performer of concerts and operas ranging from the traditional to the contemporary. I am also an advocate of the Latin-American and Iberian Art Song repertoire, and a proponent of contemporary vocal works as well. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to premier many vocal works, from well-established and up-and-coming composers.

I earned a BA in Literature and Languages from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico; and, both a BA and an MM in Vocal Performance, from The Boston Conservatory. And, I have sung in important stages, including the world-renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA, Boston Symphony Hall in Boston, MA, and The Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin, TX; also, at the Tanglewood Festival in Lenox, MA and the Centro de Bellas Artes (Performing Arts Center) in San Juan, PR.

Moreover, I am a voice teacher, the co-creator and co-producer of the children's music project: Canciones, raíces y alas, writing original, family-friendly music, in Spanish; and the creator and teacher of CRYA Canta, a music program geared towards young children (0-4yo) that stimulates the development of early childhood skills (motor, cognitive, etc.). Also, I'm the voice of Hippocampus Clubhouse, en español - narrating the Spanish books found in this fun, inclusive, SEL-based story time podcast.
